Oh shoot, i didn't know Blud was advertising on here as well! Really fupping excited for this game and hope it will get good following! Last game that came out with such amazing 2D animations was Cookie Cutter, and that too took a *long* time to get it to look as smooth and creative as it was.

AND THUS THE ROSTER IS COMPLEEEEEEEETE
Thank you for all the effort and time in putting this project together, as well as for organizing it in the first place! For as much of a hassle as it has been, I hope it has been fun too. :)
It certainly is awesome to see one's own character in a collab like this.

Upon looking through all the characters i can imagine various folks banding together or finding a common ground:
- Normal folks like Kai Asahi, Kerry Jackson, Alice Blume and Annie
- The heroic fellows like Death, Pancho, Cyberknight and Roy
- The heroic vigilantes/bounty hunters/mercenaries/"Do anything", to which my own characters Nemikro and Folekroth could belong to as well as Cobolt Murderbucket, Dr. Talon & Muffin and Cionna Zero
- More money-oriented people, be they bounty hunters or having debt issues like Ruby by Hoverland and Ayaka Penki (Cionna Zero and Nemikro count here too)
- The "Leave me alone"-type folks such as Betty T. , Lilyana Moody and Shanty , who may have overlap with...
- The mischievious "Do my own thing!" characters like Riley (the StevSteelen one), Rob the Hornoid and D-Bug
- Excitement seekers/Thrillseekers
- Troublemakers (difference with Thrillseekers being that they may not actively find fun in getting other people's goat, but that they just have an attitude that brings a lot of friction with people they meet) such as Olive and Gina
- Actual villainous characters whose goals may or may not align such as Tunkman
And last but not least
- The Flumbos. Like Damian, Kinbari and that long-legged baby

There can definitely be overlap, but I liked to make a kind of categorization like this.
Would be funny ot imagine how characters could interact when meeting, not even exclusively through fighting. But cool combat can be a uniting point.!

Thank you again very much for your work and efforts in organizing this all and bringing it together!

I guess I fall into the mischievous category XDD

I can hear that plodding and empty feeling. Sounds like climbing a staircase, bells, and I concur with Guileness that there is a feeling of winter in it.

I'm sorry about the emotional break that led to creating it, I'm happy that you can put emotion into art, and even when your art may be sad or melancholic in deeper ways than letters alone can convey, may you remember to not be defined by those parts of you alone.

Wish you well, and i'm glad the ice cream helped.

Ever considered making an ice cream character that gives of itself to help others be in a better state? May only be treating the symptoms rather than the core, but that can still be of help in first steps for the other person to get to the root of what whirls inside their heart and mind.

I came across your account from the "Give me your OCs thread". I like the style here, very nice coloring/texturing and the wavy line in the hair which remind me of an umbrella or sea creature are neat too.
Werer the horizontal black and white stripes a deliberate choice to invoke a jailbird costume?
Also, what the fup was she sentenced for and how did sho get out of the chair?

Also also: With her spines i can imagine her rolling up and someone using her as a bladed chakram, or tying her to a rope and using her as a flying guillotine.
(Old martial arts movie, the Flying Guillotine itself is a ring on a rope with blades on the inside)

Skelleste responds:

Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear my characters had an appeal to a passing stranger.

Scott (the blue guy with the chain) was made first, and I gave him stripes to imply criminal undertones. Everyone else of his species, Scatterbrain included, was made by making bootleg versions of him. If you like drawing something, then just make more of it. So they all kind of have that going on, but you're right in guessing that it was pushed very intentionally on Scatterbrain. She has the most obvious prisoner stripes because crime is more central to her motives. Everyone else has vices or personal problems that incidentally lead to breaking the law, whereas she does it with purpose.

As for her sentence, that's a project for the future to tell as a short story. Maybe as a break between chapters. But the gag is that she wasn't a criminal at all in the beginning, and got mixed in with a bunch of prisoners doing some kind of work along a road in striped outfits. It's as silly and straightforward as that.

I often do think about how their spines probably suck to slip past your skin. Thank you for dropping that movie reference, writing it down because she is French and that title alone makes it 10x funnier to spin her around in a circle at breakneck speed.

It's been a long time since I last looked at yoor art and i'm glad to see youo still going-- and the stuff you make keeps on being *sick*. Good gosh, your skills are enviable. From the patterns and texturing on the coat and hat to the general shading and the background, there's so much skill and detailing that goes into it.

Hope you are well and I *wish* you well!

A big manglerfish character, *foopin' awesome*

I meant anglerfish, but i'm not correcting this typo for i feel there is nothing to correct.
